Welcome to our new site (and our new blog!)

It’s finally here – an updated iNET Interactive website and a new iNET Interactive blog. It has been more than 18 months since iNET Interactive was acquired and a new management team took the reins. It’s time to tell the world what we are up to. It’s not that we have been in stealth mode for the last 18 months. We have been highly visible in our individual communities, whether it’s interviews in the Hot Scripts newsletter or posts at Web Hosting Talk. But nowhere have we put it all together. Nowhere have we talked about the bigger picture. That’s what we hope to do with this blog.

iNET Interactive is a social media company. What does that mean? Why does it matter? What is the technology behind the scenes? How do you grow large, vibrant communities? These are just some of the questions that we hope to address.

I hope to be a frequent contributor to the iNET Interactive blog, but I won’t be the only contributor. I will be joined by Chris Ainsworth, iNET’s Director of Product Management, who will provide insight and perspective on our product direction and technology decisions. Dennis Johnson, iNET’s Community Coordinator, will also be sharing his expertise and experience in leading and moderating online communities. Others from the iNET team will be jumping into the fray as well.
