iNET Supports Earthquake Relief for Haiti

American Red Cross Haiti Donations

On January 12, 2010, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck the small Caribbean country of Haiti. The aftermath of the catastrophic quake left more than 230,000 people dead, 300,000 people injured and 1,000,000 people homeless. There is a continuing shortage of essential supplies and support personnel to assist the people of Haiti through this crisis. Supplies, workers and money are needed to regain stability.

iNET Interactive, through its Web Hosting Talk and HostingCon brands, supports Hosting For Haiti, which has partnered with the American Red Cross to mobilize relief workers, send relief supplies and provide financial resources for recovery.

The goal of HostingForHaiti is to unite the web hosting industry to provide financial assistance to Haiti. Although it is normally highly competitive, the hosting industry can generate more awareness and support for Haiti as a group than any single person or company. As a major influence in the web hosting industry, iNET Interactive is proud to support the relief efforts in Haiti through the HostingForHaiti organization and the American Red Cross.

Those who are interested in donating can visit the HostingForHaiti website or the American Red Cross. One hundred percent of every donation made will go to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development Fund.
