Team
Troy Augustine
President and CEO
“I became the CEO of iNET Interactive after it was acquired in late 2005. I don’t really “do” anything at iNET Interactive – my team won’t let me sell advertising or write code. My focus is on setting our vision and strategy, making sure that we have great people in the right places to make it happen, and putting systems in place to track our progress. When I’m not doing that, I’m spending time with my family. I’m married, and I have two young sons who have supplanted any interesting hobbies that I may have once had.”
John Skinner
Chief Financial Officer
“I joined iNET in May of 2008. I’ve been in Finance roles for over 15 years, working previously at PWC, Reynolds & Reynolds, Relizon/WorkflowOne, and Interbrand. I am a graduate of Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and am an Ohio CPA. I’m married with two young sons. I enjoy coaching my kids teams, playing softball and golf,
going out to eat, winning at fantasy sports, and following Ohio State football.”
Chris Ainsworth
Vice President, Products
“I’ve been working on the web in product management for almost nine years. Before I joined iNET, I was a product manager at Yahoo! and before that at Cincinnati.Com. I am married and have two sons. I enjoy playing video games with friends, riding my bike, fantasy sports, eating out, traveling, taking pictures, collecting Las Vegas casino memorabilia, and blogging occasionally about Apple and Macs.”
Kelly Kleiner
Vice President, Sales
“I have had a passion for marketing and sales for as long as I can remember. I was the crazy kid who loved selling school raffle tickets! I started my career selling traditional advertising, spent time on the “client side” of the business, and just prior to joining iNET, I managed an advertising team at F+W Publications. My husband and I live in Cincinnati, with our two birds and three-year old son. For fun, we tackle huge house projects, boat, hike and love to eat at great restaurants.”
Mark Sancrant
Director, Corporate Development
“I recently joined iNET to lead the company’s acquisition initiatives. I have been involved in mergers and acquisitions for over 11 years, primarily in New York City. I am engaged and will be having a small destination wedding this May in South Africa. My main hobby is…unfortunately working…when not working, I enjoy traveling, cooking, and reading about history.”
Kevin Gold
Director, Internet Marketing
“It’s been over seven years since I started working specifically in Internet marketing and over twelve in various market strategy, sales and relationship management roles. Internet marketing became my passion after discovering its significant advantage with testing, measuring and optimizing. Plus there’s always something new to learn, leverage and execute. When not working, reading, writing or researching, I am having a great time with my wife, Jen, daughter Abi, and Max – our golden retriever or trying to fit in some exercise.”
Mat Sumpter
IT Manager
“I have been into Linux system administration and web development since 2002 when I started with Slackware and Ultimate Bulletin Board. Originally I was a member of Web Hosting Talk before being hired in early 2004 by iNET. I am happy married to my wife Ashley and I enjoy immersing myself in and blogging about all things geek!”
Ahmad Permessur
Product Manager
“I’ve been working with iNET Interactive for 4 years now. Prior to joining iNET, I worked with eDEVcafe as the Director of Operations. I’m an avid technology enthusiast and love all things web related. When I am not working, I like traveling or spending hours playing Flight Simulator!”
Scott Millsop
Account Manager
“I owned a race track in Indiana in the 70’s. In the 80’s I managed a fine dining restaurant in Denver. In the late 80’s and 90’s, I owned a writing company (Creative Services). I was writer/producer/performer on a nationally syndicated radio show (Roadside Attraction). In the new millennium, I wrote/produced a television program (This is Real Racing) and have worked the web including web design, and now advertising.”
Tanya Applegate
Office Manager
“I have been working at iNET Interactive since January of 2006, after moving from Louisville, Kentucky. Prior to working here, I worked for a mortgage consulting firm and for the Kentucky United Methodist state office. I am married and have four children. When I’m not working, I can be found at dance, marching band and cheerleading competitions watching my children, or driving them to their various activities.”
Sherry Griddine
Ad Traffic Manager
“I’ve worked in and around the web hosting industry for six years and with iNET for the last four. I’m married and have a son, who is my pride and joy. My other joy is water, whether it’s the ocean, sea or a clear blue lake. But my favorite place in the world is a 7-mile stretch of beach in Negril, Jamaica.”
Eric Gilley
Account Manager
“I’ve been in advertising sales for just over 4 years. I was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University. I’m married and have a son. In my free time I like to watch sports, play poker, jog, read a good book, play sudoku and I can’t live without my TiVo.”
Ed Baker
Account Manager
“I have always been obsessed with technology and sales. I started out selling cell-phones; when the cool things about them were that you could make calls from your car. I moved from selling phones to selling PCs. I eventually got into tech-sales management for various retail stores such as CompUSA, Best Buy, and Sprint. I enjoy life through singing, spending time with my family, teaching life management courses, and continuing my education.”
Dennis Johnson
Community Coordinator
“I’ve been involved in forums and communities as long as I’ve been on the Internet. Before joining iNET, I spent a few decades self-employed in various customer service oriented venues. I’ve been married and have grown children. I live in Kalamazoo, Michigan where, besides from spending time in iNET communities, I take time to be creative in the kitchen and escape with my guitar.”
Robert Farrell
Internet Marketing Manager
“I’m a recent graduate of Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio where I received my BSBA in Marketing. I originally joined iNET as an intern in college and now work here full-time. Some of my interests/hobbies include playing guitar, working out, playing video games, watching movies, drinking coffee and spending time with my girlfriend of two years.”
Jason Griddine
Senior Internet Marketing Manager
“I’ve been involved with web design and development since 1999 working as a freelance webmaster. However, I transitioned into the web hosting industry over 5 yrs ago by way of a company called Communitech in Kansas City working as a Tech Support Specialist. Before joining iNET, I worked as a Search Engine Optimization Specialist for an Atlanta-based ticket broker called Empire Tickets. I currently live in Atlanta, Georgia with my wife and two children ages 5 and 7. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with the kids and taking in a good movie a la Netflix.”
Aaron Forgue
Web Developer
“Realizing an uncanny penchant for angle brackets, semi-colons, and hex colors circa 1998, I decreed myself a web developer. I began specializing in strategic web development, open source solutions, and online business development, finally landing at iNET in the Summer of 2007. My passion revolves around architecting web applications that solve everyday problems in creative ways. When not opining on recent web trends or crafting my latest web app, I can be found reading my wife’s blog, playing with my beautiful daughter, Elise, or building things in my woodshop.”
P.J. Hile
Web Developer
“I’m a graduate of Miami University’s computer science program and a long time Linux enthusiast. As of late, I’ve been concentrating my efforts on web application development using the PHP framework CakePHP. I’m also a new father and proud husband to my daughter Leah and wife Jenn. On my free time, I can be found online shamelessly promoting myself.”
Stephanie Splete
Event Marketing Manager
“I’ve been a social networking queen my entire career. To date that’s been networking as in the face to face kind. My passions are customer service and connecting people. My hobbies are travelling and socializing, thus my career has followed a dynamic path of corporate travel and meetings management; hospitality and resort sales; golf outing sales; and event sales and marketing. My husband and I love to travel to beautiful places like Greece, Baja, and National Parks. When we’re home we garden, bike, play with our dog Oakley, have friends over, and go to parties and events around town.”
